SEND Teaching Assistant - Southwark

We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work within an SEND school based in Southwark on a part-time or full-time basis.

You will support pupils with different SEND needs. Autism and ADHD will be the two key areas of support. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but not essential. You will support children on a one-to-one and group basis. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to supporting children of different age groups and have the ability to adapt.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Assist with personal care
  • Supporting pupils throughout the school day
  • Engaging with pupils at all times within the classroom and on break times

Job Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities is desirable but not essential
