To be successful for this role you must:

  • Bring passion, enthusiasm, and a commitment to working in SEND learning environments.
  • Have knowledge and experience with SEND students or a solid background in supporting individuals with autism, PMLD, or other disabilities.
  • Possess experience in the education or care sector, supporting either adults or children.
  • Be prepared to provide personal care to students.
  • Make a meaningful contribution to the students' learning journey.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting students in the classroom both individually and in groups
  • Supervising children inside and outside the classroom
  • Be prepared to provide personal care as needed.
  • Encouraging and supporting students in their learning
  • Aiding the teacher in lesson preparation and activity planning
