Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking exceptional SEND Teaching Assistants in Lewisham, London, with experience supporting SEND students. We are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on individuals who are passionate about working with students with autism and a mixture of SEND. To be successful for this role you must:
- Bring passion, enthusiasm, and a commitment to working in SEND learning environments.
- Have knowledge and experience with SEND students or a solid background in supporting individuals with autism, PMLD, or other disabilities.
- Possess experience in the education or care sector, supporting either adults or children.
- Be prepared to provide personal care to students.
- Make a meaningful contribution to the students' learning journey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting students in the classroom both individually and in groups
- Supervising children inside and outside the classroom
- Be prepared to provide personal care as needed.
- Encouraging and supporting students in their learning
- Aiding the teacher in lesson preparation and activity planning
