They are both very rewarding and fulfilling roles for the right candidates. The school prides itself on providing a happy, well organised and stimulating environment where all children and staff can work together in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect and where the children can learn to be tolerant, courteous and considerate to others.

The first SEND teaching assistant position is working with 2 KS2 children that are on a separate timetable. Both children have complex behavioural needs and the support will be on focused 1-1 and small group work as well as integrated in class support.

The second SEND teaching assistant position is supporting a child in year 1 who is on the Autistic Spectrum, this is also on a 1-1, integrated in class support and small group basis.

To be successful, you must be a dependable candidate who has already held a school based SEND position and has the ability to remain professional, calm and caring at all times and in all situations.

As an SEND teaching assistant you must be experienced at keeping pupils focused and motivated with their work and activities. You should have a passion for SEN and be experienced working alongside other members of staff and outside agencies to be able to support the children in your care. And an Individual who can work creatively and sensitively with children to inspire and fulfil their potential. A vital aspect of the position is the expectation that you will successfully build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

All applicants will be subject to thorough employment checks and must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service certificate in place.

At Bond each candidate will have their own designated Account Manager who has strong working relationships with schools in your area and can offer support for each supply booking or/and opportunity for long term / permanent positions.
