SEND SUPPORT STAFF
Location: RedbridgeSchool Type: SEND Primary & SecondaryHours: Full-time (Mon - Fri) Pay:£85-£95 per day
Empowering Learning are currently recruiting SEND Support Staff to work with pupils with Learning Difficulties in Redbridge. We are seeking staff with a background of supporting children or adults with Complex Needs, Physical Disabilities or Severe Learning Difficulties
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a caring and empathetic nature towards the pupils but also remain resilient and patient under difficult scenarios. The school would like positive and versatile SEND Staff, with a keen interest in supporting pupils of different learning levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with Complex Needs, Physical Disabilities & Severe Learning Difficulties
- Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development
- Provide personal care, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene support
In order to be considered for this role you need to:
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Hold a level 2 and above in childcare or equivalent
- Have previous experience of working in a UK Primary/Secondary school
- Previous experience supporting individuals with SEND
- DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
- Available to work full-time (Mon - Fri)
