A number of special needs schools in Waltham Forest are currently seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for a variety of positions. These range from flexible daily supply to short-term and long-term roles, offering a chance to work with students who have diverse needs, including ASD, MLD, ADHD, PMLD, and SEMH.

What we offer:

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one)
  • Proven experience working with children, ideally in a SEND setting
  • Understanding of SEND and relevant experience supporting students with additional needs
  • Strong classroom management, knowledge of the curriculum, and excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic learning environment
