Sanza Teaching Agency is currently recruiting on behalf of primary and special schools within the London Borough of Haringey for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to provide short-term cover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across various needs and abilities.
  • Assist in both mainstream and special school environments, ensuring students receive tailored support.
  • Implement strategies to manage behaviour effectively, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with SEND pupils.
  • Strong behaviour management skills to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Flexibility to work across different schools on a short-term basis.
  • Ability to adapt and support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
