Our partner school caters to students with speech, language, and communication needs, as well as those facing learning and cognition difficulties. We also support students with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health issues.

Position Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of our students. We are actively seeking individuals who thrive in challenging environments and are passionate about making a positive impact on the educational journey of students with emotional behavioural difficulties and/or learning difficulties. You will be assigned to a class of up to 10 students, where your responsibilities will include behaviour support, facilitating learning, and monitoring progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

Excellent Communication: Strong communication skills, the ability to use initiative, and perform effectively under pressure.

Relevant Experience: Recent experience working with children with Emotional Behavioural Disorders (EBD), Social Emotional Mental Health difficulties (SEMH), and other challenging behaviours - even if it's not in a formal setting - life experiences are welcome
