We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our special educational needs (SEN) school in Southwark. The role will involve working with a small, supportive team in a Key Stage 3 (KS3) class of 4 non-verbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students in a nurturing, structured environment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans
  • Support communication using Makaton (preferred but training can be provided)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning experience

Person Specification:
