About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Lambeth. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and is committed to ensuring all students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to support students with additional needs.

  • Provide tailored assistance to pupils with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of individual education plans (IEPs).

  • Support students in both one-to-one and small group settings to aid their academic and personal development.

  • Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

  • Provide emotional and behavioural support where necessary.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor and enhance student progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting (preferred).

  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, Teaching Assistant Certificate, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
