General Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Southwark, London)

Role Overview:

  • Position: General Teaching Assistant (TA)
  • Location: Mainstream Primary School, Southwark, London
  • Start Date: September 2024 / ASAP
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (Term time only)
  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year (July 2024)
  • Daily Rate: £90 - £111 PAYE per day (dependent on experience/length of contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the class teacher in delivering high-quality education.
  • Work with small intervention groups and on a 1:1 basis, particularly with students requiring additional support, including those with SEN.
  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring every child receives the attention they need to thrive.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
