A vibrant primary school in Waltham Cross is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis, working 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The Teaching Assistant will provide vital support to three children with special educational needs (SEN), specifically Autism (ASC). This role is ideal for someone with prior experience working with SEN students, offering an immediate start for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

• Provide tailored support to three children with SEN (ASC), helping them engage with classroom activities and develop essential skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher to modify and deliver lessons that meet the specific learning needs of the children.
• The Teaching Assistant will create a nurturing and supportive environment where students feel safe, included, and motivated to learn.
• Support children's social and emotional development by encouraging positive behaviour and providing one-on-one guidance as needed.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, particularly working with children with SEN and Autism (ASC).
• A compassionate and adaptable approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• A valid DBS check, or willingness to complete one through Reeson Education.
