Teaching Assistant
A diverse, welcoming, and inclusive school in Brixton are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. The role involves working as a general Teaching Assistant across KS2. The role includes but is not limited to the following: taking break and lunch duties, running small intervention, completing administrative tasks and supporting the class teacher with additional duties. The position is initially until the end of the academic year, although it is likely to be extended for the right candidate.
Role requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
- Able to build rapport with students
- Experience working in KS2 or be a graduate.
- A willingness to help in extra curriculum activities
- Able to work effectively with small groups.
- Able to start after the easter break and work full-time.
Main responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant:
- To assist the classroom teacher in take engaging lessons
- Co-ordinate effectively with Class Teacher
- To perform safeguarding duties
- Perform interventions
