About the Role:
- As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with our SEN team to support students with additional needs, helping to maintain our high expectations for academic achievement. The successful candidate will:
- Provide tailored support in either Sports or Physics, working one-on-one or in small groups
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring that students of all abilities are engaged and challenged
- Support SEN students, fostering a patient and kind approach while helping them meet their learning goals
- Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to provide a nurturing and structured learning environment
- Help maintain the school's commitment to both academic excellence and the well-being of our students
About You:
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a strong academic background in Sports or Physics, or hold a degree with SEN/TA experience
- Are passionate about supporting **high standards of learning** for all students, including those with special educational needs
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are patient, empathetic, and dedicated to the success of SEN students
- Can collaborate effectively with teachers and SEN staff, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
