Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education and will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom management and organisation.
- Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities.
- Help prepare lesson materials and resources.
- Provide support to students with special educational needs.
- Supervise students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch, and on field trips.
- Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
About You:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
- A passion for education and working with children.
- Previous experience in a teaching assistant or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
