Reeson Education are currently looking for a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to support students within an Ofsted Outstanding SEN School, situated in the borough of Brent.
This fantastic school primarily supports students with Autism that have either moderate or severe learning difficulties. This is a full time, long term teaching assistant position starting immediately. This particular school works with Key Stage 3, 4 and post 16 and has around 7/8 students within the class.
What does being a Teaching Assistant entail within an SEN School?
- Working 1:1 or in small groups
- Reporting on individual progress
- Liaising with parents
- Managing Challenging Behaviour
- Using PECS
As a teaching assistant within this school, it will be your role to manage the child's behaviour, monitor the progression of the students, liaise with the teacher and parents etc.
I am looking for someone who shows enthusiasm and a passion with working with SEN. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with a fantastic support network in addition to incredible resources.
