EYFS Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - Supporting Reception Child with Autism
A primary school in Tottenham is looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to work 5 days a week supporting a child in Reception with Autism. This is a full-time position starting ASAP after the October half term. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, particularly those with Autism, and be ready to make an immediate impact in a nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities for the EYFS Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-on-one support to a Reception-aged child with Autism, helping them with both academic and social development.
- Work closely with the class teacher to create tailored learning activities that meet the child's specific needs.
- Support the child in building communication, sensory, and emotional regulation skills as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teacher and SENCO to ensure the child's individual learning plan is followed.
