Horizon Teachers are working with a warm and welcoming primary school based in Wandsworth, helping in their search for a SEN Teaching Assistant.As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the SEND team. You will work closely with an experienced team to provide personalised care and education to a child on a 1:1 basis, enabling them to thrive in a mainstream school setting. The school is easily accessible via public transport and there are also parking options available. Your experience

Experience working with children in EYFS or Primary settings.
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, either in a personal or educational capacity.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Confident and able to use your initiative.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
Knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
