Teaching Assistant - Reception Class Supporting a Child with High Emotional Needs

A welcoming primary school in North London is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young boy in their Reception class. This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting children with high emotional needs and passionate about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Offer tailored 1:1 support to a Reception pupil, helping to manage high emotional needs and build confidence in the classroom.
  • Develop and implement strategies to assist with emotional regulation and promote positive behaviours.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN team to create a nurturing and supportive learning plan for the child.
