We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a thriving one-form entry primary school in Camden.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom support to the class teacher, ensuring a positive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups of children, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions to support individual pupil progress.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere that encourages learning and development.
  • Support pupils with their social, emotional, and academic needs, promoting positive behavior and self-esteem.
  • Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning materials.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential).
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children, particularly those with SEN.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping children achieve their full potential.
