About the Role:As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work flexibly across schools in Waltham Forest, providing vital support to children, including those with diverse SEN needs such as Autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs), SLCN (Speech, Language, and Communication Needs), and Learning Difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Adapt your approach to meet individual needs, helping children reach their full potential.
What We’re Looking For:We value adaptability and dedication. Ideally, you will:
- Have experience or qualifications in supporting children with SEN.
- Possess recent school-based experience.
- Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be proactive, flexible, and confident in stepping into new roles.
