Academics are looking for teaching assistants to work in a vibrant and inclusive Primary schools located in the Lambeth area. We are looking for passionate teaching assistants who are looking to have a positive impact and enjoy working with pupils across KS1/KS2.

Position: Teaching Assistant (KS1 and KS2)Location: Different primary Schools LambethContract Type: Full-Time up until the end of the academic year (opportunities to extend)Daily Rate: £90-£110 (Choice of Umbrella or PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the class inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans, ensuring students' individual needs are met.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to track student progress and contribute to the development of strategies to support learning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, helping them build confidence and independence.
  • Encourage and promote positive behaviour and attitudes within the school community.

Application wourld be most welcome from graduates with experience working with children and in a paid or voluntary setting or experienced teaching assistant with a degree or Level 3 childcare qualification . You will need excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
