Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in the Gospel Oak area of Camden on a full-time, long-term basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' learning and development in a supportive school environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons across various subjects
  • Support students with learning activities, ensuring they remain engaged and focused
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who may require additional help
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and staff
  • Support students with additional needs and help them reach their full potential
Key Requirements:
  • A relevant degree (e.g. Education, Psychology, Maths, English, etc)
  • Prior experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to support students with a variety of needs
