Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in the Gospel Oak area of Camden on a full-time, long-term basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' learning and development in a supportive school environment.Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering lessons across various subjects
Support students with learning activities, ensuring they remain engaged and focused
Provide one-to-one support to students who may require additional help
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and staff
Support students with additional needs and help them reach their full potential

Key Requirements:

A relevant degree (e.g. Education, Psychology, Maths, English, etc)
Prior experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A proactive attitude and the ability to support students with a variety of needs
