A delightful Catholic primary school in Camden are looking for a dedicated and supportive learning support assistant to join their Year 4 classroom. Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a child in Year 5 with autism. This role is essential in helping the student academically, emotionally and socially, as well as maintaining focus and staying on task during class activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-1 support to a Year 4 student with ASD.
• Assist with phonics, literacy, and numeracy tasks.
• Help the child maintain focus and stay on task in class.
• Implement individualized learning strategies to support the child's academic progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement effective support plans.
• Monitor and report on the child's progress and development.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in KS2 is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• A valid Child Workforce DBS on the update service is essential. We can help with this!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
