A welcoming and supportive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team after the May half term.
In this role, you will work closely with pupils in small groups, supporting targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy, and helping to raise attainment across the school. It's an ideal opportunity for someone considering teacher training or a long-term career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering small group interventions in core subjects
- Leading guided reading sessions and supporting phonics development
- Assisting teachers with planning and preparing resources
- Providing academic and emotional support to help pupils progress
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
The Ideal Candidate:
- A recent graduate or equivalent (education-related degree a bonus)
- Passionate about education and helping children succeed
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
