If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to become a vital part of our team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) on a long-term basis in Haringey.What you'll be doing:
  • Supportive Learning: Work closely with students on an individual or small group basis, providing tailored assistance to help them achieve their educational goals.
  • Inclusive Approach: Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Positive Environment: Create a nurturing and encouraging classroom environment that fosters growth, independence, and self-esteem among students.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assist in tracking and documenting students' progress and development, communicating effectively with the teaching staff and parents.
The ideal person will have:
  • Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other support staff.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to address the diverse needs of students.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or related fields are advantageous.
