Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Primary School Support)

Empowering Learning is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a primary school located in Hackney, East London. This role involves providing essential support to students with ASD, SEMH, and PMLD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer one-on-one and group support to students with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
  • Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and supporting the students' academic, emotional, and social development.
  • Help students engage with classroom activities and support their participation in school life.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment tailored to each child's individual needs.

Requirements:
