The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and the flexibility to support both individual and group learning activities.

  • Foster positive behaviour and encourage pupils to reach their full potential in both academic and social areas.
  • Provide general administrative support, such as preparing materials and assisting with displays or resources.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (ASD experience is highly desirable).
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children develop both academically and socially.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic classroom environment and take on a range of tasks as needed.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or equivalent experience is advantageous.
