We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a well-established Secondary SEN school in Lambeth. These are long-term positions offering the chance to work closely with students who have a range of needs, including Autism, speech & language needs and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the learning and development of pupils with a variety of SEN needs in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning experiences for students.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Provide personal care and additional support for students with more complex needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to track and support each pupil's progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a SEN setting, ideally with secondary-aged students.
  • A caring, patient, and proactive attitude towards supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • A commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
