Horizon Teachers is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Lambeth to provide 1:1 support to a child in the Reception class with Mild Learning Difficulties, including Autism and Speech and Language needs.
Candidates should have previous experience in a school setting and working with children with Special Educational Needs.
The position is full-time, starting ASAP or in January and lasting until July 2025, with a salary of up to £550 per week.
Successful applicants must be resilient and able to build rapport with both the child and other students in the classroom.
A DBS check and sighting of original qualifications will be required as part of the registration process.

Horizon Teachers are currently working with a Primary School in Lambeth that are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in their Reception class that requires extra support in their education. The student you will be supporting has Mild Learning Difficulties, such as Autism and Speech and Language needs, so it would be very beneficial if you have previous experience working within a similar role.You will need to be resilient and be able to quickly create a rapport with the child you are working with and the other children within the classroom. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person, starting ASAP or in January until July 2025, on a full-time basis, and will pay up to £550 per week.What the school are looking for in their Teaching Assistants:

Previous experience working within a school setting.
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
Confident working on a 1:1 basis and within small groups of children
Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
