A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Haringey and support their Early Years provision. The school is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early childhood education, confident in phonics teaching, and experienced in supporting SEN pupils.
EYFS Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:- Help set up and maintain the EYFS provision, ensuring a stimulating learning environment.
- Support children with SEN, providing tailored assistance to meet their individual needs.
- Deliver phonics sessions and support early literacy and numeracy development.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective strategies.
- Previous experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in a school or nursery setting.
- Confidence in phonics teaching and supporting early learning development.
- Experience working with children with SEN in an Early Years setting.
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one via Reeson Education.
