Teaching Assistant - 2:1 Behaviour Support - Tottenham - Full-Time, Long-Term

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Autism and behavioural needs? A Primary School in Tottenham is seeking a confident and proactive TA to work 2:1 with a pupil, sharing responsibilities with another Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP, with the opportunity to continue in September 2025.

Teaching Assistant - Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide 2:1 support for a child with Autism, ensuring a structured and supportive learning environment.
  • Take turns with another Teaching Assistant to provide consistent guidance and behavioural support.
  • Use positive reinforcement and tailored strategies to help manage behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure the child's progress.
  • Support the pupil in both classroom learning and play-based interventions.
Teaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, especially with SEN and Autism.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to stay composed in challenging situations.
  • A confident and proactive approach, able to adapt quickly to the role.
