Teaching Assistant Required for Primary School in Greenwich
- Full time 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday
- £85-£95 per day
About the role:
This primary school in Greenwich are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work on a 121 basis within mainstream primary schools in the Greenwich area. Students with a variety of SEND ranging from Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Non verbal and PMLD.
Your Role:
- Supporting on a one-to-one basis
- Providing emotional behaviour support
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents
- You will be assisting a pupil with Autism and sensory behavioural difficulties so you must be confident in your behaviour management strategies
The ideal candidate:
- Outgoing and mentoring manner
- Enthusiastic and passionate about helping children with SEND reach their full potential
- You will be expected to think on your feet and be proactive, no day is the same in a School, so being prepared is vital.
- Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils
- Previous experience working with children with Autism
