Job Details:

Responsibilities:

As a SEND Care Support Worker/Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide vital support to children and young adults with diverse SEND needs, including Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Speech and Language Communication Difficulties.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as feeding, moving, and handling.
  • Support pupils in their learning journey and address their care needs within the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Experience supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities (desirable).
  • Training in moving and handling.
  • Care-based experience.
  • A valid DBS registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
