We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant who has prior experience working with children that have Autism. The ideal candidate should have a kind and caring nature who is able to work well with challenging behaviour.

Working within an SEN School is a highly rewarding job. Our Ofsted outstanding client school works with a magnitude of SEN such as PMLD, ASC, MLD, SLD, HI and VI. Working as a Teaching Assistant within our lovely SEN School may require supporting children with personal care. The level of personal care can vary on a number of factors such as age and learning difficulties.

There are a couple of full time, long term roles starting immediately. We are looking for someone who has confidence, resilience and enthusiasm.

Becoming an SEN TA/Teaching Assistant can be the perfect introduction to understand how schools are run. For example, if you are looking to become a teacher, this is a fantastic way to build a foundation of knowledge of what would be expected from you, if you decided to pursue a career in teaching.
