Remedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Undergrad - Teaching Assistant who is willing to support key stage 3&4 pupils with Autism and ADHD with within an SEN primary school. As this is a daily supply role this gives you an amazing work, personal life balance. This Undergrad - Teaching Assistant role can be quite challenging as you will be working with challenging behaviour, ASD and SEMH students.

Undergrad - Teaching Assistant |Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Psychology, Criminology or Education Bachelors Degree
