Year 1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Lambeth

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are looking for a dedicated Year 1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Lambeth. This is a full-time role starting immediately and will run until the end of the academic year.

Role Details:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Duration: Full-time for the rest of the academic year
  • Pay Rate: £85 to £95 per day (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support for Year 1 students with SEND.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEND (preferred).
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
