Tradewind Recruitment is working with a vibrant primary school in Leyton, Waltham Forest, to find a skilled Year 6 Teaching Assistant. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £90-95 and an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
The Role: As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' academic and personal development. Working closely with the class teacher, your responsibilities will include providing 1-1 and small group support, assisting with lesson preparation, and offering tailored support to pupils who may need additional help in their studies.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong classroom management skills and have experience working within Key Stage 2. Your ability to build positive relationships with pupils and encourage their confidence and independence will be key to success in this role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils is essential.
- A proactive and supportive attitude, with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
- Availability to start in October/November 2024 and work full-time, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, term time only.
