About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Ecologist to support a diverse range of projects across the UK. You will play a key role in delivering ecological surveys, habitat assessments, and protected species monitoring, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to drive biodiversity enhancements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating, and undertaking field surveys
  • Analysing and interpreting survey results
  • Providing Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) support
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-profile projects


What Our Client is Looking For

Qualifications & Memberships

  • A degree in Ecology or a related field
  • Membership of CIEEM (covered by our client)

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Strong protected species survey skills
  • UK Habitat survey and Defra Biodiversity Metric knowledge
  • Experience in Biodiversity Net Gain assessments (desirable)
  • Level 1 or 2 bat survey licence (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence

Key Attributes

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
