With bases all over the UK, they offer a well-rounded approach to solving environmental issues.Your new roleDue to continuous growth, this post is for a Consultant or Senior level Ecologist to work out of their central London office. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across the UK on a diverse range of projects. Projects will typically occur within London and the surrounding counties.You will work in a supportive environment with friendly staff and will be given support and tailored development opportunities via experienced colleagues and external professionals.You will be responsible for…

Undertaking ecological surveys, including UKHab habitat surveys and varying protected species surveys
Help to manage ecological projects for smooth delivery
Liaise with clients and subcontractors to
Help to prepare fee proposals and author technical reports
Ensure the meeting of Biodiversity Net Gain where possible

What you'll need to succeed

Some proven experience in an ecological consultancy (Seasonal or Permanent)
A degree in a relevant field
Experience with conducting or supporting ecological surveys
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A good understanding of relevant environmental and planning legislation
Full UK driving licence
Experience of Biodiversity Net Gain, botany or ornithology (ideal)
GIS experience (ideal)
One or more protected species licences (ideal)
FISC trained (ideal)
Membership of CIEEM (ideal)
