London based train operating company is looking to recruit a capable and organised Revenue Analytics & Revenue Modelling Analyst to work as part of their Commercial department.

The role will be to gather data & statistical insight on both Passenger Demand and Ticketing Revenue. By understanding the relevant statistical data and analytics, the analyst will be able to build comprehensive revenue models which will assist in the production of revenue budgets and forecasts.

The revenue models will also support the business in terms of decision making, internal & external reporting, provide useful information for planning decisions and provide useful information for investment opportunities along the route.

By using historical drivers of revenue performance and combining that insight into newer statistical models, the commercial department and business will be able to drive forward new improvement initiatives that will ultimately impact on revenue.

The role of the modeller will involve the production of periodic and annual revenue budgets and revenue forecasts.

The successful candidate should be qualified to Degree level, understand markets & customers, be able to identify improvement opportunities and have a solid background in statistics, data analytics & spreadsheet modelling.
