We are seeking aCommercial Assistantto join our growing commercial team and be part of our future development.
Primarily yourmain duties and tasks will include:
  • Assisting the Commercial & Finance teams in ensuring that the commercial and contract function operates effectively
  • Maintain and create commercial records
  • Manage submission of client applications, invoices and cash receipts
  • Administer sub-contractors, including payments, orders, insurances
  • Assist with cost capture and reporting, including to senior team members
  • Assist with contract drafting and administration
  • Undertake project administration and record keeping
  • Interact with other project disciplines for timely recording of information

You will:
  • Ideally be a college level graduate or higher with a commercial or finance qualification
  • IT literate - with proven capability in the use of Excel and Word software
  • Demonstrable ability to work as part of team and individually
  • Show a high attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and able to work to tight timescales
  • Have previous experience of Rail engineering - ideal - but not essential
  • Occasional travel to different sites may be required
