Property Accounts Assistant - OUR CLIENT are a highly successful private Real Estate investment company focusing on the Commercial and Residential market in London. The business has a range of properties under management and are a leading name within the property sector. Now they are seeking a Property Accounts Assistant to join Commercial Management team, help maintain purchase ledger and take on credit control function.

The ROLE requirements for Property Accounts Assistant are:

  • Processing invoices on property management system and arranging weekly Bacs run.
  • Setting up new suppliers and periodically reviewing supplier statements.
  • Posting Tenant Receipts on daily basis.
  • Raising VAT receipts on weekly basis.
  • Recharging utilities to tenants.
  • Producing weekly arrears reports for Property Managers, reviewing these reports and following up telephone calls and email chasers, including taking payments via the phone.
  • Sending CRAR Instructions.
  • Carrying out ad hoc duties broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.

The PERSON and Skills requirements for Property Accounts Assistant:

  • Knowledge of Property Accounting, including experience in Credit Control.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience Property Accounting Systems such as QUBE, DWELLANT or similar is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Calm and Professional working manner.
  • Responsible attitude to work and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines.
