We are seeking a dedicated Business Tutor to join our educational team within the Offender Learning Sector in Southeast London.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and deliver high-quality lessons focused on how to successfully set up and run a business.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Assess learner needs and tailor teaching methods to meet individual requirements.
- Support learners in achieving their SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) qualifications.
- Continuously evaluate and adapt lesson plans to ensure the effectiveness of the teaching.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Proven track record of effective teaching in business or a related subject specialism.
- Ability to gain, hold, and maintain a clean, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
