Job: Breakfast and After School Club Manager

Location: Hanwell, Ealing, West London

Annual Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours a week, Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 7.30am to 6pm (split shift), 52 weeks a year 

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted rated Outstanding sports and childcare organisation seeking a Breakfast and After School Club Manager to their club in Hanwell to join their dynamic operational team.

This role is suitable for a Breakfast and After School Club Manager who likes to make an impact on day one, have ownership to implement change and the ability to support and encourage a team to deliver excellence across their service offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Building, managing and developing a team of 4 to ensure high quality standards of care is consistently delivered and ensuring safeguarding and duties of care are effective.
  • Responsible for compliance across the setting to meet Ofsted guidelines and recommendations. The club is currently rated Outstanding.
  • Observe 20+ Reception to Year 6 children in play, implement planning around learning and support growth of individuals in their care.
  • Build great relationships with parents and carers, schools, local authorities and governing bodies to ensure seamless communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of EYFS.
  • Ensure the setup of each of the sessions is visually appealing, age, ability and children’s interest appropriate.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • Passion for early years and learning through play.
  • Experience leading and motivating a team in a childcare or primary school setting.
  • Proven management experience including managing rotas.
  • IT literate in Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Punctual, reliable and able to use own initiative.
