Keystone Care is supporting an esteemed elderly care provider in their search for a Deputy COO. This role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in elderly nursing homes, operational leadership, and strategic management.

Position Summary

The Deputy COO will support the Chief Operating Officer in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of all nursing home activities. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational management to deliver exceptional care standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the COO in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and patient care quality
  • Oversee nursing home operations while ensuring compliance with health care regulations and standards
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team, including regional and home managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with organisational objectives
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain smooth facility operations

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in nursing home management and team leadership
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health care regulations and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and financial planning
  • Strong strategic planning and operational management capabilities
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
