Are you an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a new exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a Deputy Ward Manager to join their team.

Duties include:

Risk assessments and supervision of a team

  • Complete staff training and appraisals
  • Contributes to the process of collaboratively assessing and acting on risks of harm, danger and abuse.
  • Acts as a role model to promote a culture of learning development, inquiry and a team vision
  • Implements, monitors and evaluates therapeutic interventions within the care programme,
  • Problem solving
  • Identify problems and to develop solutions to them based on their own needs and preferences
  • Be named nurse for a small group of patients, acting as Associate nurse for colleagues when on duty, and is a regular shift leader

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health nurse
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to solve issues
