We are currently supporting a local authority client to recruit an Interim AD – Urgent Care and Care Homes who will work across the ICB and Local Authority.

The interim AD – Urgent Care and Care Homes role will involve:

Work in an integrated fashion across the ICB, Acute Trust and Local Authority, leading on commissioning, strategic design and transformation activity across:

  • Local Care Partnership lead for hospital discharge delivery across health and care with operational management of health and care multidisciplinary teams
  • Lead of Urgent and emergency care transformation across adults and children, community and acute providers
  • Winter planning and surge activity for health and care services
  • A&E Delivery Board management
  • Care Home commissioning, market sufficiency and management

Experience and skills required for the Interim AD – Urgent Care and Care Homes:

  • Previously undertaken a similar role in commisisonin, design and operational management of Urgent care
  • Brings experience of working with the urgent care and discharge arena
  • Knowledge of health and social care policies, procedures, legislation and regulations in respect of the relevant client groups
  • Experience of communicating, liaising and negotiating with a complex range of stakeholders
  • Ability to apply creativity, ingenuity and flexibility when working with providers to develop and implement service improvements
