Peripatetic ManagerSalary: £65,000 per yearJob Type: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Regional Southeast & WestAbout the Role:As a Peripatetic Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the continued success and smooth operation of multiple care homes across the region. You'll provide support wherever there's a Care Home Manager vacancy, stepping in to lead teams, implement changes, and maintain the highest standards of care and service. You'll work closely with senior leadership and external health professionals to ensure that each care home provides the best possible care experience for our residents.Key Responsibilities:* Support and oversee care homes across the region, stepping in to manage homes in the absence of a Care Home Manager.* Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to ensure that each home meets regulatory requirements and maintains quality standards.* Handle complex concerns and complaints, taking a hands-on approach to resolve issues.* Promote person-centred care across all teams, ensuring resident's needs and wishes are at the heart of care delivery.* Build and maintain strong relationships with care home staff, external health professionals, and other key stakeholders.* Ensure that the care homes you support are operating in line with Care Inspectorate and local authority guidelines.* Provide leadership and guidance to care teams, driving continuous improvement and best practices.Essential Requirements for the Role:* Proven experience in a similar managerial role, ideally with multi-site management experience.* Clinical background, with qualifications as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).* Full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel across the region.* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage large teams and navigate complex situations.* Experience with handling complaints and concerns, particularly in a healthcare or social care setting.* Knowledge of Care Inspectorate requirements and local authority expectations.* Experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior management role is desirable.* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the care industry.Benefits:* £65,000 annual salary* Car Allowance or Company Vehicle* Contributory pension scheme* Health Care benefits* Death in Service benefit* 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)* Career development opportunities within a growing companyHow to Apply:If you're an experienced Peripatetic Manager with a passion for providing excellent care, we want to hear from you!
