Reed are seeking an ambitious, driven, and caring Registered Manager to join a highly successful branch in Chingford.

The role involves managing, developing, and growing the business alongside the General Manager and other staff members.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide leadership, management, and support to the team to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Take ownership of achieving high levels of compliance with regulations, laws, quality standards & policies, aiming for an “Outstanding” CQC inspection.
  • Accountable for the Health and Safety of staff and clients, ensuring policies and procedures are followed to provide a safe working environment.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and approved practice, promoting our aims and values.
  • Review and improve processes for effective and efficient service delivery to clients.
  • Implement staff training and ensure the delivery of high-quality care services to vulnerable people in their own homes.
  • Manage scheduling to ensure caregivers deliver allocated care to clients effectively.
  • Oversee quality assurance and governance through spot checks, service reviews, internal audits, and annual surveys.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to maintain an outstanding ranking on review sites.
  • Drive sustainable business growth in line with commercial targets.
  • Complete and improve assessments, risk assessments, and support plans to exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems to ensure the effective running of the business.
  • Work in partnership with directors, colleagues, healthcare professionals, local authority teams, and external regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, including covering the emergency on-call mobile phone outside normal office hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care or similar, or working towards it.
  • In-depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores.
  • Management experience in the care industry with a track record of leading successful service provision.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing diverse teams.
  • Visionary approach to homecare and influencing positive change.
