They are now seeking an accomplished and motivated Associate Director of Power Systems Engineering, proficient in ETAP, to take on a leadership role in their growing team.

Role Overview:
In this senior-level position, you will be instrumental in driving the design, analysis, and enhancement of power systems for large-scale, complex projects. You'll lead and expand a team of engineers, overseeing the successful delivery of projects and shaping the strategic direction of the engineering function. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in power systems engineering, with hands-on proficiency in ETAP software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design and analysis of electrical power systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Utilize ETAP for detailed modelling, simulation, and analysis, including load flow, fault studies, and short-circuit analysis.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, offering guidance and expertise on complex projects.
  • Develop strategies to optimize power system performance and reliability across various project environments.
  • Conduct simulations and studies to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and internal teams.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their growth within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in power systems engineering, with substantial expertise in ETAP software.
  • Strong background in power system analysis, including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, and transient stability analysis.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering teams and overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Expertise in electrical power systems design, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on team development and mentorship.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
